I am not trying to be nitpicky but when I pay a contractor I expect them to do their job and me not to have to clean up after em .
I walked around inspecting the fence this morning and I realize now I’ll have to do that before I ever pay a contractor again .
You cut the fence loose from the corner post put the new fence up and didn’t remove the old fence there’s just pieces of wire sticking out everywhere
You took down the water hose holder just left it laying on the ground didn’t put it back up
Not a single piece of fence has been tacked down on the backside.
You like scraps of wood laying around at multiple sites
This pieced fence post cover is absolutely unacceptable would you accept this at your house
There are three areas of fence that fence is not even stretched properly on the bottom
The fence posts were cut off but I don’t believe you put a level on anything they’re all crooked and angled
You put this faceboard on over the turf so I can’t pull the turf out the faceboards gotta come off
The tree you cut off last time was not cut short enough so it has re sprouted and I asked you to cut it off that did not happen trees still between the fence and the building
I don’t normally have to provide tools for contractors and I don’t really mind what I do mind is you’re not putting them back where you got them from
This really ticks me off and I know you think nothing of it but when I gave you those two containers of staples they had tops on them because they need to sit somewhere when they’re not in use now the top both tops are missing and I’m sure you took them to the dump and threw them away so that they will never have tops and now I’ve got 2 buckets sitting with no lids somebody bumps them and in the floor they go staples everywhere
Yeah may seem nitpicking but it’s the principle if you’re gonna do a job for somebody do it right
If you want to make a living being a contractor you’re gonna have to start acting like a contractor instead of a fly by night.
When you get ready to go to work in the morning you need to plan on working a full day. Not 8 to 2 or 3. A work day is 8 to 5 or 6. That is how you get a job done.
You can’t work a full day if you’re not prepared. you should not have to leave a job site to go get a coke or something to eat. You should always take a cooler full of ice, water and a soda for lunch. You should make some sandwiches for lunch so they are not too heavy but lots of protein for energy Peanut butter and jelly may soud boring but they are great super food. Throw in a bag of chips and you are ready to stay at a job site all day.
Right now , by two or three o’clock you’re exhausted you’re out of energy because you don’t think you need to stop and eat lunch and take a break.
About two or three o’clock your work is getting sloppy you’re forgetting to do things and all that does is make people like me the people hiring you upset because now I have to go through and fix everything you’ve messed up

I had no idea what you’ve done to this gate but this gate has never dragged the ground.
Did you loosen its brackets? Did you have it off of the post for some reason?
I come out to spray weeds in the backyard today and notice that this post is broke off in the ground. Did you by chance back into it with the Jeep.
